A significant update to New Balance's best selling running shoe, the 1080v15 is lighter, more breathable and features an all-new supercritical cushioning technology.

The 1080v15 utilizes a brand-new midsole technology, Infinion, for long-lasting performance with enhanced cushioning and energy return. The perforated mesh upper is lightweight and breathable, and its molded contour details are an expressive, novel design that provides texture and visual depth. The outsole has rubber pads in the high use areas, keeping the shoe as light as possible. It is a about 10% lighter or over an once less than the 1080v14, its previous Fresh Foam X version. Despite being lighter, the 1080v15 actually increases the stack height by 2mm in the heel and forefoot compared to the 1080v14.

Infinion: long-lasting performance

What does long-lasting performance mean?

A new dimension of reliability. Over the life of a shoe, the cushioning eventually becomes compressed, reducing its effectiveness. This is the "worn out" feeling that means it's time for a new pair. Infinion foam is designed to make more runs feel like your first run.
